Dr. Megan Whalin, DVM

Dr. Megan Whalin graduated from The Ohio State University with both her undergraduate degree in animal sciences in 2019 as well as her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.  Dr. Whalin loves adventure and has taken advantage of several opportunities to travel. While in school, Dr. Whalin traveled abroad, visiting Nicaragua, New Zealand, Spain, and Ireland. The programs focused on how differences such as culture, geography, and socioeconomics affect human and animal interactions. Dr. Whalin also spent a summer outside of Vancouver, British Columbia on a dairy farm, where she worked on the farm and with researchers studying dairy calf welfare.  Within veterinary medicine, she is excited to provide care to enhance your cat or dog’s life, and especially enjoys surgery, nutrition, cardiology, and behavior.

Dr. Whalin lives in the Columbus area with her husband and their two cats, Samson and T’Challa and their dog, Phoebe. Beyond traveling, she also enjoys reading, swimming, being outside, tennis, and visiting with family.
