Pet Behavior and Training Services

Dr. Cassandra has a special interest in providing behavior support and works with clients to help them have the least stressful visits possible under her guidance. We can also help treat a variety of home behavior concerns including, but not limited to, separation anxiety, fear, compulsive behaviors, aggression, thunderstorm anxiety, excessive barking, leash reactivity or inappropriate house soiling. Our goal is to provide alternatives to punishment based behavior modification to help strengthen the human-animal bond we have with our pets.

Our behavior consultations are performed via telemedicine (video conference) as they allow Dr. Cassandra, our animal behaviorist, the opportunity to see your pet in their home environment with fewer distractions. After reviewing your pet’s medical records and discussing your concerns, Dr. Cassandra will make a medical and behavioral treatment plan that may include training recommendations, prescriptions, supplements, labwork and additional appointments to monitor their progress. You will receive a detailed summary that outlines the treatment plan and our medical team will routinely check in to be sure you have ongoing support.

Successful outcomes require ongoing monitoring and adjustments to the treatment plan which are accomplished through follow up appointments.
