Kali M.

Kali grew up in Barnesville Ohio before moving to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University. She will be graduating in 2023 with her Bachelor of Animal Science degree and a Minor in General Psychology, and upon graduation, she plans to further her education and attend physical therapy school! Kali always envisioned herself in the field of veterinary medicine. She has previously worked at a doggie daycare, volunteered with local animal shelters, and has volunteered with the organization Faithful Forgotten Best Friends to provide free veterinary care to those in need. She has also successfully raised one guide dog for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and is now raising her second, Richie! Kali’s favorite aspect of veterinary
medicine is providing comfortable, happy visits for all our patients and being able to learn something new every day.

Kali has two dogs back home with family in Barnesville: Nala, a cuddly golden retriever with some powerful puppy eyes, and Linkoln, a beagle/retriever mix who loves to sit pretty, watch out the window, and howl. Her current guide-dog-intraining, Richie, is a sweet yellow lab that loves going to class, playing fetch, and cuddling with his best friends.
