Health & Harmony – Reopening Plan!
The long-awaited time has come! Starting Monday, March 21st, we will offer clients the option to accompany their pets inside for their appointments. We are so excited to finally match all of your faces to the new names we’ve come to know after two long years of curbside care. We know you are just as thrilled as we are to have you more involved with your pet’s veterinary visits.
With this in mind, we will continue to advocate for our team’s safety and kindly ask that you closely review the protocols below. Our amazing team is absolutely essential to providing care to keep your pets healthy; therefore, we have strict protocols for entering our building to protect their health and yours. These protocols are all subject to change over time, and we appreciate your understanding that this is just our first step in moving back towards a much more personal experience for you and your pets at Health & Harmony!
Regardless of appointment type, please always call or text the hospital to check-in when you arrive! To minimize unnecessary interactions between clients and potentially reactive pets in our lobby, we kindly ask that you do not enter the hospital until a team member comes to escort you inside.
For appointments with a veterinarian, clients will be given a choice to remain curbside or accompany their pets inside the hospital for their appointment. For those wishing to join their pets, only ONE masked adult will be permitted inside, so please leave the kiddos at home! A team member will review your pet’s history over the phone prior to escorting you directly into an exam room. All clients, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a well-fitted mask and keep it on for the duration of their time in the hospital. We will continue to keep all technician appointments, patient admissions/discharges, and medication pickups curbside to minimize the traffic in our lobby.
As we all adjust to a new flow here at Health & Harmony, we appreciate your understanding that there may be some delays or hiccups during this transition. Many of our current team have joined us during curbside service and will be working through a steep learning curve to help us find our new normal. We are committed to maintaining our high standards of client care, and any constructive feedback is always welcome so we can continue to improve your experience.
As a medical facility, you can rest assured that we are adhering to all published CDC guidelines for the prevention of COVID-19. Our robust disinfection protocols have been updated to target COVID-19 and put additional focus on all human contact points. Our team is required to wear masks, and any employees who are under the weather or have had known COVID-19 exposure are not being permitted to work. We appreciate your cooperation with our screening questions as well honoring our requests to always wear a well-fitted mask when interacting with our team in order to keep them healthy and able to care for your pets!
